What is the digital certificate?
It’s just your official identification that will grant your access to online procedures. Its encryption leads the system that “reads” it to assume that the person who is acting is the same one carrying this certificate. Therefore, it allows to perform transactions on behalf of it.

What is the process to obtain it?
To obtain your digital certificate, you will have to acces to the Royal Mint webpage, where you will be able to register yourself to download the software and you will receive a code that will inform you about your request.
After that, you must make an appointment with the Tax Office with the code provided by mail and your DNI or residence card. The tax office will check your ID and it will send you the confirmation of your requerement. Subsequenly, you will be able to dowload your digital certificate in the computer in which you ask for it.
Does it cost anything?
