bares de moda manero

Are you new in Madrid? Where do you usually hang out? On Saturday nights, are you more of a stay-at-home kind of person or do you go out for dinner? Whether you’re new to the city or a veteran, whether you’re more of a homebody or a party animal, this week at People Global Relocation we’ve prepared a post with 5 trendy bars and restaurants in the capital. We’re sure that, whatever you are, you’ll want to visit them all. Here we go!

Manero Claudio Coello

After reaching the pinnacle of success in Alicante, this sophisticated bar has arrived in the capital. It is located on Calle Claudio Coello 3, in the heart of the Salamanca district. Although its location may seem to indicate expensive prices, this is not the case. Manero Claudio Coello offers the menu of a traditional tavern. Its star dishes include croquettes, ensaladilla rusa (Russian salad) and the famous bocata de calamares (squid sandwich). All of this at completely affordable prices.

Even so, for the most exquisite, the bar also offers gourmet products and products of its own brand, such as wines or champagnes.

The Avocado Show

For avocado lovers, this bar will be like entering a theme park for the trendy fruit. The Avocado Show is already present in other European countries, such as the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom, and has also arrived in the Spanish capital to make the avocado the star of all its dishes. Avocado “lemonades”, avocado “potato” wedges, or hamburgers with avocado “bread” are just some of the examples.

In addition, this bar has a very particular aesthetic that will invite you to take more than one selfie. You can visit it at Calle Colmenares 13, in Madrid’s Chueca neighbourhood.

Bel Mondo

Undoubtedly, the most fashionable restaurant among influencers in the capital in recent months. Getting a reservation at this restaurant has become a really complicated task. That’s why its owners have decided to always leave a quota of tables free for reservations so that you can come and try your luck. The protagonist of Bel Mondo is Italian cuisine, although one of the most remarkable things about the restaurant is also its mixture of Italian and Spanish cuisine.

The restaurant is located at Calle Velázquez 39 and, if you manage to get a reservation, you can choose between its carefully decorated interior or its incredible secret garden full of flowers.

Cadaqués

This is another of the most fashionable places among celebrities and influencers. Located in calle Jorge Juan 35, Cadaqués offers Mediterranean cuisine. In this restaurant you can enjoy incredible rice dishes, homemade aiolis, fresh seafood and fish, or traditional stews. A special recommendation is the omelette with prawn romescada.

Madame Butterfly

Last but not least, we present Madame Butterfly. This restaurant offers a gastronomic mix of Eastern and Western cuisine. Some examples of this mix are its wagyu meatballs or its potato omelette in tempura. But don’t worry, you can also enjoy their traditional sushi, without the mix. It is located on Calle Luchana 13, in the Chamberí neighbourhood, and has a terrace, a tea room for snacks and another space for dinners and lunches.

Now that you know which are the most famous bars and restaurants in the capital, don’t miss them!
