What is the deadline to apply for the MEC Scholarship?
The deadline to apply for the MEC Scholarship 2022-2023 started on March 30 and will be open until next Thursday, May 12.
How to apply?
In order to apply for the MEC Scholarship, the first thing you must do is to register in the Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry of Education. If you are already registered and have applied for the scholarship in previous years, you must also apply for it. In other words, the application for this scholarship is not automatically renewed, but must be applied for year after year.
In order to register, you will need:
- The identity document of the person for whom the scholarship is intended.
- An active e-mail account.
- A cell phone number.
What information should I provide on my scholarship application?
It is important that you have a number of documents ready when you apply for your scholarship:
- NIF of the members of the family unit.
- Details of a bank account of which the student is the holder or co-holder.
- In case of belonging to a special group (large family, disability, etc.), the documents that prove it.
When do the scholarships begin to be processed?
From the day after the application deadline, the responsible institutions begin to register the applications.
You will be able to check the status of your scholarship at any time in the “my files” section of your profile in the Ministry’s Electronic Headquarters.
Finally, the scholarship award will always be notified online through the e-mail address provided. This notification will have the same legal validity as a notification made by registered letter.
